PROVIDA PROBIOTICI PLUS is a food supplement with spores of Bacillus coagulans BC4 in high concentration, in association with 4 strains of live lactic ferments useful for rebalancing the intestinal bacterial flora. The particular production technique of Provìda Probiotics Plus guarantees consumer, for the entire life of the product, a quantity of active cells of not less than 20 billion per dose. The formulation is further enriched with a blend of B vitamins to support normal energy metabolism and prebiotic fibers, Fructo-oligosaccharides (which constitute the fundamental growth substrate for the bacterial flora). Provida Probiotics Plus is particularly suitable for use in combination with antibiotic therapies, to support our microbiota and our immune system.

Provida Probiotici Plus
Active spores resistant to gastric juices
Bacillus coagulans, also known as Lactobacillus Sporogenes, is a Gram-positive bacterium, naturally present in our intestine, able to product spores. Bacterial spores are produced as a means of survival in extreme conditions and are formed by an internal core containing the genetic material, inactivated, and by a multilayer protective shell resistant to external attacks. The spore acts as a protective shield against changes in temperature or pH, the aggression of gastric juices and biliary and pancreatic secretions.
Once in the intestine, the spores germinate after a few minutes, they grow and multiply, persisting in the host for over 10 days after the last intake, they also have a high capacity of adhesion to the intestinal mucosa, reducing the space available to harmful bacteria, preventing their proliferation
Bacillus Coagulans BC4 acts along the entire gastrointestinal tract, creating a favorable environment for the maintenance and growth of other bacterial strains, it is also resistant to most antibiotics, so it’s possible to take it during antibiotic treatments to counteract side effects. Recent studies have shown that Bacillus coagulans BC4 has therapeutic effects on intestinal diseases, such as acute diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, antibiotic-related diarrhea, constipation and colitis.
Blend of live lactic ferments
- BIFIDOBACTERIUM LACTIS BL 04
Strain belonging to the Bifidobacteria family, characterized by excellent resistance to gastric pH and bile salts. It’s very useful for improving the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, both in case of constipation and diarrhea. Furthermore, it has the ability to increase the levels of circulating IgA and I gG and cooperates in the reduction of inflammatory processes. - LACTOBACILLUS ACIDOPHILUS LA 14
Very resistant to the acid pH of the stomach and able to survive the aggression of bile acids. It binds to the intestinal mucosa and protects, with a barrier effect mechanism, from the possible invasive penetration of unwanted microorganisms, it also hinders the growth of Escherichia coli. - LACTOBACILLUS PLANTARUM LP 115
It's a Gram positive bacterium normally present in our bacterial flora. It's extremely effective in resisting the main antibiotics, and also stimulates the production of cytokine IL 4 and IL 10 with an anti-inflammatory effect. - LACTOBACILLUS PARACASEI LPC 37
It has a protective role against gastrointestinal pathogens. It transforms sugars into lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide, inhibiting the growth of unwanted bacteria in the intestine
Prebiotic fibers
Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) are prebiotics, that are fermented mainly by some types of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli. They are mainly present in onions, bananas, garlic, beets and artichokes. The role of these fibers is not limited to the growth substrate for the microorganisms of the intestinal flora, habitual intake of fructo-oligosaccharides allows to significantly increase the production of short-chain fatty acids, such as propionate, lactate, acetate and butyrate. These types of short-chain fatty acids are
essential for maintaining a healthy microbial environment and represent 70% of the energy used by the epithelial cells of the colon, favoring a continuous turnover of the intestinal mucosa.
Quick recovery with B vitamins
- B1 Thiamine contributes to normal energy metabolism and normal nervous function
- B5 Pantothenic acid reduces tiredness and fatigue
- B6 Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal function of the immune system
- B12 Vitamin B12 cooperates in the normal function of the immune system, in normal energy metabolism and in the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Altered intestinal flora
The allied foods of our bacterial flora are those naturally rich in fiber and probiotics. It is useful to focus on a balanced diet rich in vegetables, fruit and fibers such as the one suggested by the original Mediterranean diet.
Suitable for everyone
Suitable for adults and children (over 3 years of age).
Suitable in pregnancy. Store out of the refrigerator.

How to use
Take 1 vial a day, between meals. During antibiotic therapy, it's recommended to take it a few hours away from the drug.
